Die Geschichte dieses mittelständischen Familienunternehmens begann 1968, als der Gründer Max Gut damit begann, Rollladenkästen aus Beton zu gießen. Damals konnte wohl niemand ahnen, dass MAGU fast 50 Jahre später ein komplettes und energieeffizientes Hausbausystem anbieten würde. Doch genau diese Weitsicht und Innovationskraft legte den Grundstein für die beeindruckende Entwicklung von MAGU.

Our formwork blocks, the MAGU wall elements, are the perfect basis for highly insulated building shells, for KFW 40 or passive houses. Fast and economical to build, permeable to diffusion for the best living and room climate, positive ecological balance in the first year for perfect environmental protection and the best CO2 balance. Thanks to the variable concrete core, the formwork blocks are ideally suited for every construction project.

The MAGU ceiling is a very light and easy-to-install ceiling. The fillers with foamed steel inserts are designed to bear the loads needed to install the ceiling and structural steel. The fillers are placed on the load-bearing walls, supported every 1.80 m and finally concreted.
The result is a solid concrete ceiling into which all electrical and ventilation lines can be integrated, built-in lights can be placed as required and which also has ideal thermal insulation as an external component. This makes the MAGU lightweight ceiling the ideal solid ceiling as a floor ceiling, ceilings to the ground on their foundations, as a flat roof but also in the renovation of all parts of the building that are difficult to access.

The MAGU MiniBlock roller shutter box is suitable for wall thicknesses of 30 to 50 cm. It is delivered with centimeter precision and can be installed in two ways:
- Either it is installed above the window directly flush with the outer edge of the masonry.
- Or it initially protrudes a little and is later covered with a thermal insulation composite system for ideal complete thermal protection.

The one floor slab with brains: MAGU® Atlas can be installed in just a few hours thanks to the convenient plug-in technology. Additional formwork is not necessary, the floor slab is immediately ready for concreting. After concreting, the floor slab elements remain in place because they also guarantee insulation without thermal bridges. The intelligent plug-in system MAGU® Atlas is also suitable for special basic shapes and geometries.

The possible uses and advantages of wall formwork elements are even more popular and better known in other countries than in Germany.
In Canada and America, statistics show that ICFs (Insulated Concrete Forms) have a market share of more than 5 percent. The advantages of heat-insulating construction are also in great demand in countries where temperatures are very high, as it saves significant air conditioning costs.
We were certainly one of the first companies to develop, produce and install a formwork block in houses. We have since been able to export our know-how to various countries around the world. Today, the exchange of interests with our foreign partners keeps us up to date - our ReForm system, for example, was developed by our Australian partner.
